Debate Lingo, Part Three

THE dub: "The environment has gotten better under my administration" -- OMFG

Kerry: "We can do better"

THE dub: "That answer made me want to scowl"-- ????

Kerry: "We can do better"

THE dub: "I really don't think you're rights are being watered down... er... In fact, I would never support it(the patriot act) if they did"-- the irony, OMFG THE IRONY

Kerry: "He says he's going to allow the destruction of human life to a point, and then not allow it..."

The dub: "I had to make the decision to destroy more life..." (yep)

Kerry: "...I can't take something that is an article of faith-- for me-- and legislate it, for someone who doesn't share that article of faith..."

THE dub: (Shakes his head)"Trying to decipher that..."-- I bet you are

More of THE dub: "I've made a lotta decishuns, some ofem' little, like appointments..."

Kerry= same as last debate, a bit more aggressive
The monkey= jaw moving back and forth; it got progressively worse as the debate went on. Also, that creepy blank stare for moments at a time. The dub's closing speech was filled with slogans (terra, liberty, terra, freedom, terra, elections, terra, we're at war, terra) repeated as usual, you know, to really get it through to you.

Talkleft has some ongoing post-debate poll results.
