"Freedom is on the
march", they say. Civil war comes.

... Just in the first two weeks of September. And THE dub continues to utter various mindless passages about how progress is being made in Iraq, on the verge of freedom, democracy just around the corner, blah, blah, blah. Just the same, Mr. rumpsfelt said the other day, "progress is being made, sooner or later the enemy will get tired of being killed". OMG. So, that's the plan, we'll just kill them until they're sick of it. What was the plan? I hope it was more elaborate than that. I suppose that to some degree, this is the point of war, this is what happens in war. Needless to say, the situation does not appear to be getting better, and I don't want to be pessimistic, but does anything THE dub and his people ever say actually correspond with reality?
