More media stuff...

Read a tidbit at skippy's from the la times that theorizes about why some media folks have been so hard on moore's film; because they haven't raised or reported on the issues that have sparked debate in the wake of farenheit's release to theaters. So did the general media not cover these issues because they aren't factual? Because they would question the morale of our commander-in-chief? Or because they are afraid of the repercussions of certain interests, such as people that fund the networks, people that work for the networks, etc. Is it in bad taste or taboo to raise other questions that matter? I do realize that some media persons'(I'm generally referring to mainstream news networks) do raise thoughtful questions on occasion, but it is hard to imagine much, if any, of these questions being raised in the mainstream media, unless they're coming from someone that is purposefully being made to look like some kind of idiot(see eric alterman on dennis miller's talk show).

I would guess that people who run these companies do find certain issues in bad taste for a number of reasons, including, in my opinion,--- ratings, funding, and special interests or friends in the biz.
