I heard it in the wind...

... and I saw it in the sky. I thought it was the end, I thought it was the 4th of July.---Soundgarden, Superunknown

But really, it was just some idiot lighting off m-80's outside of my apartment at midnight.

This isn't neccesarily political, or related to the 4th of July, but I wanted to mention Bill Cosby - I think he is Brilliant. If you haven't heard his latest controversy, here it is. If any one doubts his credibility, or his contribution to the black community, here is his bio.

I started the day thinking that I wish MN would make higher grade fireworks legal again. Former Governor Ventura had some good points about how it encourages Minnesotans to become criminals by going to Wisconsin or the Dakotas for their fireworks. However, after all of the asinine and inconsiderate things I’ve seen done with them today, I’m starting to question my position.

The documentary, The Fog of War, is out for rent. The Former Secretary of Defense brings up a lot of moral and philosophical topics.

I think Bill Cosby is Brilliant. If you haven’t heard, here are his latest controversial remarks. If anyone doubts his credibility or commitment to helping the black community, here is his bio.
