Satisfied?

The zany Professor says the other day, are you satisfied with what you have? In a class of thirty people, I am the only one who raises their hand. One person, he says. One person??? I ask myself. I recognize that there are things I want, but I could live without them. For this reason, there is a part of me that feels 'satisfied'. Think about it for a minute and one begins to conjure up a mental list of all the things that they want in life. There is a difference between want and need that can go hand in hand with the difference between being satisfied and being discontent. Naturally, one further asks themselves whether they could be satisfied with less than what they already have.

Ask yourself. Are you satisfied with what you have?
